Make sure that you shutdown your computers before you leave for the day.
Only leave them on when instructed by me. Your monitors SHOULD stay on,
solely because their power buttons have a tendency to break over time of
turning it off and on and powering it off and on also causes the CRT
inside the monitor to not live as long because of the premature surges
that it causes.
Either way they will power down to about 1-2 watts of energy (depending
on the size) when it goes to sleep mode. Mostly all the monitors here are
able to go into sleep mode on their own and only consume 1-2Watts of
energy.
